From Shanghai to Ohio: Woo Chong Yung 1898 - 1989

The 9th Annual Asian Art Lecture celebrated the new Cincinnati Art Museum exhibition From Shanghai to Ohio: Woo Chong Yung. It traces the life and artworks of a Chinese literati artist who immigrated to Ohio at age 68 and transformed and reshaped both his life and painting. Dr. Hou-mei Sung organized the exhibit with the Frank Museum at Otterbein College. Her talk is illustrated with key works from Woo's career.
