Schedule of Events

The Cincinnati Asian Art Society sponsors monthly programs, generally from September through May.

On Sunday March 19 Teruko Nesbitt, certified teacher of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana, will share the history of Ikebana, including its importance in chabana, the practice of the tea ceremony. You’ll see examples of the characteristics of this unique Japanese art form.  Through her demonstration, you will learn about artistic practices and explore the unlimited possibilities that Ikebana brings to your life. Please click here for more information about our lecture. A reception will follow at 3:00 PM where guests will be able to talk with Ms. Nesbitt.

Our programs are free and open to the public. Some programs are for members only. To learn about becoming a member, please see our Join Page.
