The Cincinnati Asian Art Society sponsors monthly programs, generally from September through May.

Sunday May 24, 2026: This lecture coincides with the final few weeks of the successful Cincinnati Art Museum exhibition that explores historic Indian paintings and emotional connection. Organized around the theme of “longing,” the exhibition encourages visitors to experience art through sight, sound, smell, and touch. The multisensory exhibition model works to heighten each work’s bhava (emotion or mood) and encourage multiple ways of physically, intellectually, and emotionally experiencing art. Join exhibition curator Ainsley M. Cameron as she reflects on new curatorial concepts to reveal the visual, literary, political, and religious histories of the northwest Himalayan region while also speaking to the 21st century going public. The program is FREE.
