Conservation of East Asian Artworks

Three distinguished speakers shared fascinating stories about Conservation of East Asian Art at the Cincinnati Art Museum. We'll see examples of meticulously restored painting and sculptures that can be enjoyed by museum visitors because of the conservation treatments. Speakers were Dr. Hou-mei Sung, Curator of East Asian Art, Kelly Rechtenwald, Object Conservator and Cecile Mear, Paper Conservator. Sciene and art meet in this informative presentation.
